The Missouri Landscape and Nursery Association College Scholarship
The Missouri Landscape and Nursery Association (MLNA) offers a $1000 scholarship to a horticulture student in the state of Missouri. The funds for this scholarship have been raised from donations made to the MLNA Scholarship Fund.
Application Deadline: November 15, 2013
For: Students enrolled in a 2 or 4 year horticulture program at any Missouri college. Value Up to $1000 Guidelines: This scholarship is awarded on the basis of need, high character, leadership and excellence in studies. The scholarship is awarded to a student enrolled in a 2 or 4 year Missouri college. The student should be actively seeking employment in the nursery industry after graduation. Applicants must be current residents of Missouri and must have successfully completed one quarter of studies.
Criteria & Procedures: The scholarship committee is composed of members of the Missouri Landscape & Nursery Association.
A student may be considered as a candidate for this scholarship only after the application form has been completed and the scholarship requirements have been met.
Any student that has received a previous scholarship from the Missouri Landscape & Nursery Association will be ineligible.
The student selected for the scholarship will be notified and asked to appear at the MLNA Silent Auction Reception at the National Green Centre Trade Show in January in St. Louis. The scholarship will be presented at that time.
